VISION

Every person in Myanmar will have the opportunity to be reached and restored by the love of Jesus.

MISSION

In the next five years, a number of organizations are committed to partner together in an effort to impact the nation of Myanmar through strengthening the local church, planting reproducing churches, and making disciples among all people groups and in every sphere and strata of society.

Who We Are

A backbone organization of friends:

  • serving and supporting the gospel for the transformation of Myanmar;
  • connecting and networking with as many ministries as possible in Myanmar so we can understand, document, and in turn, encourage resources to be brought in to fill in the gaps;
  • leaning into God’s vision to transform Myanmar through the completion of five goals*.

Who We Are Not

Golden Shores Initiative:

  • is not a governmental body, nor has separate 501(c)(3) non-profit status;
  • is not the gatekeeper for all mission activities in the nation. We bless everyone that wants to serve the nation in Jesus’ name.
  • is not a funding organization for every ministry’s financial needs. Each organization owns this responsibility for what God has called them to do.

Our Five Goals

  • Proclamation of the gospel to every person in the nation
  • Engagement of every unreached people group
  • A church in every neighborhood and village
  • Everyone having access to the Bible in their own language
  • Meeting practical needs of the people by every believer living on mission
